What's New in Live Role v3 #

Version 3 of Live Role brings many new helpful features that have been highly-requested for years. Notably, this includes:

• The ability to configure multiple filter rules per live role
  • New options for filter rule processing:
    • Require at least one filter rule to pass for the user to receive the live role
    • Require all filter rules to pass for the user to receive the live role
• New filter rule types:
  • Game keyword blacklist
  • Game keyword whitelist
  • Stream title keyword blacklist
  • Stream title keyword whitelist
• Support for YouTube streams

How do I use Live Role v3? #

Live Role v3 can be configured from the new Dashboard.

To set up Live Role v3:

1. Visit the Dashboard.
2. Choose your server from the list.
3. Click "Live Role".
4. Click "Add a Live Role".
5. Choose a live role, and optionally filter rules and Live Role Notifications.
6. At the bottom of the page, select "Save changes".

What will happen to Live Role v2? #

Existing Live Role v2 configurations have been automatically migrated to v3 with no action required on your end.
